WINTER GAMES 2013

D12 District office of Sport and Recreation planned this year to give some of the development as well as merit schools the opportunity to take part in a Winter Games Tournament. It was held as the District Play offs before the Regional play offs that will take place early next term. The U/11,13 and 14 teams were selected.

These teams will follow a different route this year, to the Regional and later Provincial and SA games.


At the District Winter Games held on Saturday 8th of June, at Maragon Private Schools, the following age groups and teams took part:

What a wonderful day of Netball it was! Games were played in great spirit and the level of netball was high. Netball players had the opportunity to compete against and also watch strong and skillful teams play excellent netball.  

The tournament that was structured on a Round Robin basis.

We are eagerly awaiting our Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.  

Just the top 2 schools of each age group will represent our D12 District at the Regional Winter Games on Saturday 20 July 2013 to be held at H/S Florida.
